Opportunity Overview:
Our client is working with TM Agency to find their founding Data Engineering Specialist.

As their Data Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for developing the company's Data Engineering organization/ framework/ methods in order to help accelerate data-driven decision making throughout the company.

You will play a key member of the Engineering organization by being the go-to person for all of the company's Data Engineering-related needs, with room to grow as the company grows its business + Engineering organization.

Some of what you'll be doing:

• Develop and maintain the Data platform (data collection, analysis, visualization, etc.)
• Work with the Development team to improve data collection by connecting more data sources to the data platform
• Maintaining and improving data integrity
• Interacting with various internal teams to understand their data needs
• Build Data Dashboards to support each team's decision making
• Improving data utilization by continuously monitoring data usage metrics
• Proactively conducting Data Analysis to provide teams with new insights to make better decisions

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience with Python, SQL, and ETL
• Ideally having experience with Data Collection, Data Analysis, Data Visualization, and Data Warehousing (e.g. Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery)
• Business-level English + Business-level Japanese
