Your next company is an American private company with over 30 years of success in delivering solutions towards protecting the devices we depend on daily. Employing over 19,000 staff in over 21 countries, they touch the lives of over 300,000,000 people worldwide.

This company is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager to join and help launch a new product from scratch. The product details will be shared over the phone as they remain confidential. However, they plan to leverage some of the best AI and leading technology in the market today. However, this product aims to fix a growing issue in Japan.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with the UX Design, Engineering, Data Science, and Operational teams in creating strategy, development, implementation, and optimizations after that. 


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, design, and drive the development, introduction, and improvement of products and services in each program.
  • Utilize data analysis and machine learning to discover customer needs and formulate product strategies.
  • Define KPI/metric goals necessary to support customers' comfortable technology life.
  • Collect, measure, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external sources, and collaborate with business companies, data scientists, UX design teams, and IT teams to formulate strategies and measures necessary to achieve KPI/metric goals.

Project management:

  • Conduct KPI/metric goal tracking, issue analysis, and response strategy formulation.
  • Estimate and audit the cost-effectiveness of programs with business companies.
  • Obtain project investment approval from stakeholders.
  • Lead project progress updates with stakeholders for transparency.

Delivery and verification of projects:

  • Create BRD (Business Requirement Document) and user stories.
  • Collaborate with UX, engineering, data science, and various business companies to lead the delivery of products that bring KPI achievable effects by the deadline.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement plans aimed at achieving KPI targets.
  • Redefine KPI/metric goals according to customer needs.
  • Conduct cost-effectiveness verification based on performance analysis.

Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Cross-functional project and product management experience.
  • Ability to achieve KPI goals.
  • Ability to verify achievements, analyse data, and plan product/service development and improvement based on machine learning.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Design and agile thinking.
  • PC skills: Excel (Pivot table/Data analysis), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to take actions beyond one's scope of responsibility when aiming to achieve goals.
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Japanese proficiency (native level)/English proficiency (business level).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in system development in Agile/Journey teams.
  • Practical experience in contact centers or logistic centers (management).
  • Practical experience in the mobile telecommunications industry, carrier shops, or after-sales support areas.
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Listening skills, ability to gain trust, and ability to involve stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn new things.
  • MBA.
