You will work with a leading company whose headquarters are based in Hong Kong, which delivers a robo-advisory/wealth management digital platform that provides automated, algorithm-driven financial planning services with little to no human supervision.

You will have a direct contract with our client, a GRC consulting company, and seconded to the HK wealth management company to provide financial application technical support services to their clients.

As the HK company doesn't have an office in Japan. You will like need to commute to the client's when you start and then eventually transition into more of a remote working basis.


  1. Act as the communication contact between clients and the technical team for system issues and queries
  2. Manage, monitor and operate the system platform to ensure all business functions running smoothly
  3. Drive incident management process and support a blameless post-mortems culture
  4. Identify pain points and provide recommendations to streamline the business process
  5. Participate in system analysis and design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
  6. Perform System Integration testing, including setting up and operating automated tests.
  7. Client onsite support may be required depending on the projects.



  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft platform. 

*Areas of concentration are Windows OS, SQL Server, IIS or similar web servers.

  • Shell programming skills. Experience with C#, Powershell is a plus
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and workflows. (Azure DevOps, Jira, Git)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and architectures
  • Troubleshooting issues across full-stack. GUI logs, Server logs, Network connectivity

Experience & Workstyle

  • Experience in client or technical support of medium to large scale platforms
  • Enjoys daily interaction with global  teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for incident management or user queries
  • Experience in financial market operations is a plus


  • At the minimum, a Business level of Japanese is required with the ability to read and write.
  • Conversation skills in Mandarin OR English required.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
